DNA: latest song not political
by Rashid Mkwehiwa

After dropping Dziko la Amuna and Mizizi album the sensational artist has come up with a controversial song titled "Tigwira Pati" which fans and music pundits claim its political.

Artists including Dan Lu and Josephy Mkasa just to mention a few, usually release political songs which are either with or against the ruling regime. However DNA has refuted to the claims saying his song its neither that but just a question any poor man ask himself everyday.

"I know there are some individuals who are saying that i am dealing with the government in this song but its not like that, i did it because I am a father, husband and son, my parents also need my help but its hard to provide in this situation and everybody is complaining" He explained.

The reggae song which was produced by Mr Bishop and Mtundu has come out when times are hard in the country as government has just depreciated the kwacha a move which has made prices of commodities sky rocketed.

In the song DNA expressed how an illiterate farmer or a mere civil servant, will survive if basic needs eg fertilizer prices have risen. He remembers how his parents told him in thier old age about those bosses in high tables eating allowances if they ask themselves where a poor man will hold.

Popular known with hit single "mukandipepesere" real name Daniel Kaliwo has been in the music game for quite some time. DNA is about to release Che Kaliwo album by the meantime he has dropped a music video for another new song titled "akazangomva yahwe" watch here https://youtu.be/pb8ik5-eqwo
